When TV producer Becky Fuller is forced to take a job on a failing morning news show, she decides to hire famous TV anchorman, Mike Pomeroy. However, Mike refuses to cover the show's tabloid style 'news' stories and has a serious personality clash with his co-presenter, former beauty queen Colleen Peck.
