I
love subtitled cinema because we can visit the
cinema as a social event with the whole family
instead of having to wait for the film to be
released on dvd. It is a real treat and we also
see lots of deaf people who we wouldn't see
but for the cinema

information about subtitled films and dvds for
deaf people like me. Without it i would be really

I've
only just heard of this,what a really great
thing to do!!! I don't go to cinema much as
I am hearing impaired, do have hearing but cannot
always make out what people are saying so am
always asking what did they say or trying to
guess!!! Hope they incorporate it into my local
cinema

I
went to see the new Transformers film last night...
I was insistent that I would see it at the cinema
with audio description! So I kept my eyes (no
pun intended) on the excellent Your Local Cinema
.com website and on Friday I saw that a cinema
nearby had it showing :-).
I'm
so happy I got to see it at the cinema with
AD! It was amazing and also very funny - good
mix of action and comedy. I wouldn't have even
thought of this cinema having AD if it wasn't
for Your Local Cinema .com. My father-in law
wants to see this film so I might just go again!

with friends and family in the cinema. This
is a wonderful service that offers a new freedom
and closes an old exclusion
